SATURDAY 16th JULY 11 am

STOP THE WAR CAMPAIGN STALL

Chesterfield Market ( outside Primark )

This coming October 2011 marks 10 years of War in Afghanistan. It has now become a war without end. Thousands of American, NATO and British armed forces personnel have been killed or seriously wounded. Along with dreadful civilian casualties among the local Afghan population.
The Chesterfield Stop War Coalition feels that the UK's involvement in this war must be stopped and our troops returned to the safety of the UK mainland and the Afghans left to determine their own future
. To bring this matter to the publics attention we will be running a stall outside Primark in Chesterfield Town Centre on Saturday 16th July 2011. 11am
. All people who oppose this War are invited to attend.
The group will also be bringing to the local public's attention the Stop the War Mass Assembly and Rally in London on Saturday 8th October 2011.

MASS ASSEMBLY TRAFALGAR SQUARE 8th OCTOBER 2011

Join thousands of people in Trafalgar Square
to protest on the tenth anniversary of the invasion
of Afghanistan.

The last ten years of war have been catastrophic.
Tens of thousands killed in Afghanistan.
A million killed in Iraq. Pakistan is on the brink of collapse.
More than 550 British soldiers dead and now daily civilian
casualties in the third western war on a Muslim country in
Libya.

The killing goes on. Britain is spending £4.5 Billion on the
wars
in Libya and Afghanistan as politicians insist on deep
cuts to essential public services.

Veterans, school students, musicians, trade unionists,
writers, academics, politicians, campaigners, military
families will be occupying Trafalgar Square to show our
opposition to war on October 8th. Make sure you are there.
