Chesterfield Stop The War stall 22 August 2009.

Stop The War groups across the country held events to name the 200 British soldiers killed in Afghanistan and some of the innocent civilian victims whose names we know. 20 members of our local group collected names on the national petition, calling for the troops to be withdrawn from Afghanistan. We were amazed by the positive response from the public, with more than 500 people signing the petition. A good number had relatives serving in the British army in Afghanistan.
